Director of Pathways for Grief and Loss
As the director of Pathways for Grief and Loss, a hospice and community based counseling center that served over 2,500 clients in Northern Colorado in 2018, I have a strong background in counseling, healthcare, hospice and grief. For over 20 years in the healthcare field I have worked to cultivate and inspire compassion and growth in all areas of my practice. I have obtained additional training in grief and trauma including EMDR and mindfulness to support all ages and across the lifespan from birth to death. During my career I have been involved in the creation and evolution of several grief programs including The Chrysalis Grief Center in Greeley, Colorado and more recently The Children's Healing Garden here at Pathways. I also provide outreach and training throughout the community. Educational topics include general Grief and Loss, Compassion Fatigue, Child and Adolescent Grief, Mindfulness and Grief in the Workplace.
