Compassion Fatigue is a condition well known in the healthcare field and despite growing awareness we are more at risk than ever before.  As organizations we strive for quality and excellence and without compassionate providers this can't be achieved.  In order to provide the quality care we all desire we must develop strategies in the face of an ever changing and strained healthcare world.  This presentation will go beyond the usual information and statistics on compassion fatigue and venture into this unique type of burnout common in the healthcare field.  Developing mindfulness and resiliency are proven to help regulate attitudes and responses to stress in personal and professional environments.   We will explore sustainable ways in which we can all transform our own lives in order to make a difference in the lives of those we care for.
